G-Pearls, an extension of Berean Christian Church Gwinnett, draws its name from the timeless pearl, a symbol of beauty, strength, and spiritual maturity formed through pressure. Dedicated to enlightening, empowering, and encouraging women through authentic sisterhood, leadership development, spiritual growth, and community engagement, G-Pearls create transformational experiences through conferences, fellowships, and outreach initiatives that equip women to thrive personally, professionally, spiritually, and within their communities.

`ABOUT DR. ALEXCIUS BRANCH`

Dr. Alexcius Branch (Dr. Lexy) of the Oprah Winfrey Network and John Maxwell Team is a powerhouse preacher, international speaker, professor, Project Management Professional, confidence coach, and serial entrepreneur. Throughout her career, she has launched and operated businesses across the insurance, financial services, healthcare, real estate, and consulting industries.

Dr. Lexy holds a Doctorate in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing and an MBA in Supply Chain and Logistics. She is the founder of The Transformation Collective, a 501(c)(3) organization, and the creator of Confidence University, a transformational program designed to educate, equip, and empower women and girls who grapple with fear and self-doubt to reclaim their power and unlock their full potential.

A passionate change agent, Dr. Lexy understands that the only constant is change and believes that those who fail to adapt risk being left behind. She is the published scholar of The Underrepresentation of Black Female Executives in Corporate America (ProQuest Study) and author of She Has Confidence: 21 Day Journal to Unshakeable Confidence.

Dr. Lexy inspires dreamers to abandon conventional thinking, ignite the superpower of confidence, and live life without limits. She champions a growth mindset, encourages others to step beyond their comfort zones, and challenges them to get comfortable being uncomfortable. In her world, confidence is not an option—it is the game changer!

`ABOUT` SIS. KELLI CARTER

Sis. Kelli Carter is a warm and dedicated member of the Loganville, Georgia, community, where she resides with her husband and son. Originally from Michigan, Kelli has been a proud member of Berean Christian Church Gwinnett for four years and faithfully serves through the Added Members, G-Pearls, MasterLife, and We Care Ministries.

With a heart for service and a passion for bringing people together, Kelli’s creative spirit shines through her love of event planning and decorating. Her creativity, attention to detail, and enthusiasm for creating meaningful experiences complement her role as Director of Events for G-Pearls. Outside of ministry and serving others, Kelli enjoys spending time with her family and is always ready for a good brunch—especially when Pepsi, her favorite, is on the menu.

`Min. Shannon Denean Duncan`

`ABOUT` MIN. SHANNON DENEAN DUNCAN

Min. Shannon Denean Duncan is an ordained minister, entrepreneur, nonprofit leader, and Doctor of Ministry scholar whose work sits at the intersection of faith, purpose, leadership, and entrepreneurship. She serves as an Associate Minister at Berean Christian Church Gwinnett and is the founder of Crowned Ministries, an organization dedicated to equipping women to discover their purpose, embrace their God-given authority, and confidently pursue the work they have been called to do. She is also the founder of Crowned RoyalTees, a Christian apparel company born from her belief that faith should not simply be professed, but boldly lived. Professionally, Shannon is a senior insurance leader with more than two decades of experience.

When she isn’t working, Shannon’s commitment to service extends throughout her community. Currently, she serves as Executive Vice President of the Junior League of Gwinnett and North Fulton Counties. In recent years, she has also served as the Corresponding Secretary for the Stone Mountain Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc.

Whether preaching, teaching, leading, building, or serving, Shannon is passionate about helping women move beyond survival and uncertainty into clarity, confidence, and purposeful action. Her ministry and scholarship particularly explore the economic empowerment of Black women and the role of the Black Church in cultivating women-led entrepreneurship, generational wealth, and thriving communities. Above all, Shannon treasures her family and is the wife of Jorome and proud mother of Jadarius, Maya, and Matthew.

`Sis. Eleatha Spencer`

`ABOUT` SIS. ELEATHA SPENCER

Sis. Eleatha has been a devoted member of Berean for more than 10 years and has faithfully served in various ministries and capacities throughout her time there. Her service has included being a G-Pearls Team Member, Marriage Ministry Team Member, Taste and See Ministry Team Member, Christian Education Teacher, and a volunteer with the Food Giveaway Ministry. She has also served as a G-Pearls Prayer Line Facilitator and Team Member, helping to encourage and uplift others through prayer.

She is a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, and she is also a former Deacon in the AME Zion Church. Her heart for service extends beyond any particular ministry or title. She is always willing to lend a helping hand wherever she is needed and considers prayer one of the greatest ways she can support and encourage others. With a servant’s heart, she is committed to being a source of encouragement, faith, and prayer to anyone who may need it.
